Training Ropes and Leads

Knot-Heads uses 9/16 inch, double-braid nylon rope for our training ropes. We chose this particular rope for it's weight, as well as, strength, rot resistense, and the simple fact that it remains soft and easy on your hands. What makes this rope superior to other types is it's weight and life. By this I mean that when you move your hand slightly, this movement tranfers and is felt by your horse. Thus, communication between you and your horse is achieved through very subtle movements. Our training ropes are made from 12 ft. up to and including 22 ft. lengths. The 12 ft. rope seems to be the most popular choice. It gives you enough room to distance you from your horse, yet not too much rope to handle comfortably, and safely. However, we will make your rope to your specifications. These ropes are equipped with a brass, twist type safety snap, or if you'd rather, a 2 inch ring and carabiner clip. All training ropes are finished with a latigo leather popper on the off end, and we guarantee it will not pull or fall off the rope, as many inferior made training ropes are notorious for.
